Embossing and encoding
AGC employs only current generation embossing and encoding systems to ensure high quality and flexibility. For higher volume applications, we can combine traditional embossing and encoding techniques with thermal printing, graphics and chip card encoding.
Thermal printing
Thermal printing techniques are used to print logos and /or text on plastic cards. The advantages of using thermal printing techniques is that there are no restrictions on font selection and that graphics can be introduced.
Chip card encoding
AGC have recently introduced chip card personalisation to the range of services we offer. We are able to initialise most of the current chip types on the market today.
Fulfilment
Personalising the card is only one process in issuing cards to customers. Finished cards are usually required to be attached to a personalised letter (or carrier) before being folded, inserted into an envelope and posted. Our bureau employs a mixture of manual and automatic matching and merging processes to ensure that every card is sent to the right customer.
